Delight in a day trip exploring fabulous Mount Vernon. The Ford Orientation Center and Donald W. Reynolds Museum offers visitors the chance to experience Washington’s life through movies and exhibitions. Tour the mansion filled with 18th-century treasures, 25 galleries and theatres, stroll the gardens, outbuildings, and Washington’s tomb. We had an unadvertised tour here in June and knew this tour had to be repeated with more time allowed. You will appreciate this site. Delicious luncheon included at Mount Vernon Inn. Entrée choice: 1) Roast Turkey w/cornbread stuffing & gravy. 2) Virginia Baked Ham. 3) Lasagna. Include entrée with payment in full. As of March 25, this trip is full.
